There is nothing to book and no need to let anyone know. You can simply come.
If it has been a long time and you do not remember how it goes, say so at the start. The priest will take you through it. No one expects you to know it by heart.
What is Reconciliation?
Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offence committed against him, and are at the same time reconciled with the Church, which by charity, example and prayer labours for their conversion.
